Is man-made church buildings of God? No.
This is truly beautiful. Yes. We are living stones in the true and only temple of the Lord.
Did you all realize that God protested to David, when he first mentioned wanting to build this temple? God said, I have never asked anyone to build me a house. This house shows the ignorance of man as they thought they could house the glorious God.
God said, I fill heaven and the heavens of heavens cannot contain me, much less this house you build.
As with Adam, God allowed man to go on and have his way. There is a way which seems right to man, but the end of that way is DEATH…..tree of knowledge of good and evil.
It is Adam, living his own way, not the ways of God. David had prepared everything Solomon would need in constructing the house which God would allow David to build.
Solomon could not settle for that. NO. He had to build the biggest and grandest of earthly things, for pride and show. Same today. God was NEVER IN IT. Solomon laid aside the materials David had provided and did his own ‘thing’. Same with preachers/churches, today. They laid aside the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and true REPENTANCE of sins, living a Godly life…as the materials for this glorious Temple of God.
They picked up fancy man-made buildings, sinful members, money spenders, bringing merchandise into the house of God, against the command of Jesus.
But God allowed Solomon to do this thing….as it does type the true temple. But God is not in man-made buildings. It is not God’s way. Jesus never did it nor taught it to be done. It will all be destroyed in God’s fire.
It shows a contempt of God, in thinking one can house the Eternal God, in a man-made building.
In reality, it is a divider and destroys the ONENESS of the true Church of God. One says, I am of this church, another says, I am of that church, etc. But it is not of God, for he builds only one true Church and we are that Church.
